Its true they really skimped on the B8.5 paint jobs. Nothing relevant to the luxurious paint coat of the B5 days. So I spent an a few hours picking the rust out of a number of paint chips on the hood all along the front edge. Also an odd place right at the lower corner of the passenger door jam. I used an exacto knife to pick out the rust and Paintcodes are usually in the spare tire area; should be a tag on there. But I'm uncertain if that's for the B8 A4 allroad or the old A6 allroad. Another reference says it should be the second paint code on Thecar ran great. I turn it off and go to turn it back on and now it won't start. I scan the car and see that it flags a P0016 code (camshaft position sensor). I clear the code and it starts up perfectly fine and is running smooth again.
